I've been to Trinidad a number of times, and on one trip, my "friends" served me Chicken Feet Soup. The soup actually isn't that bad! However, I'd avoid eating the chicken feet--not much meat and a bunch of gag-worthy bones and sinews.
Heh! I've been to Jamaica a few times so I know what you're talking about! And well, Pedro's got to boil that down ... and then there is that powdered burial shawl ( slightly used? )

When I was down in Jamaica, I was told they had a lot of dishes found in Trinidad like that!

😂
Really getting into this now. I love the pace and the wit, as well as the descriptions.
Thanks! This one has a very different pace and rhythm than stories from the other series. I'm glad you're getting into it!
Another fun installment! Can't wait to see what happens next!
To borrow a movie quote... might be something good, something bad... something a little in between! 😂😊
